Impressionism is a 19th century art movement characterized by a style or movement in painting originating in France in the 1860s. It concerns with depicting the visual impression of the moment, especially in terms of the shifting effect of light and color that seeks to capture a feeling or experience rather than to achieve accurate depiction.
"A lady bug and mushrooms" is an attempt to appreciate this style and apply it to this composition. It captures a gleeful moment from my childhood memory.
This is also my first attempt to use GIMP for Digital Painting.
